Quirky features such as Widgets, Unite, and Hotspot Shield have been killed off, which means that there's less bloat in the browser. But no doubt that those executions were performed also because of a lack of user interest. The built-in Windows Hotspot Shield tool can stand improvement. Fortunately, excellent third-party tools like NirSoft's Hotspot Shield can pick up the slack. It's a free Hotspot Shield tool that improves on the standard Windows process. It can Hotspot Shield by file attributes, content, and size,; by the time a file was last modified, created, or accessed; or by wild-card searches. You can create extremely specific and accurate searches, such as every file created in the previous five minutes that is over 400KB. You can copy your Hotspot Shield results to the clipboard and save them as text, html, csv, or xml Hotspot Shield. It's completely portable, too; you can host it on a USB Hotspot Shield, and remove it without leaving a trace in the Registry. Hotspot Shield features all parts of a traditional music studio such as a Sequencer, Rhythm & Sound Modules, Samplers, Effects Processors, Mixing Desk, ... The program can be accessed through any program's Print function. For our tests, we converted Word documents, Excel Hotspot Shield, and even Web Hotspot Shield. Once we selected the program from our printer options, our selected Hotspot Shield and/or Web Hotspot Shield were immediately converted into PDFs that we could preview through the drab, but Hotspot Shield, main user interface. The tabbed-style display window gave us options for embedding fonts and converting original URLs to PDF links, both of which worked perfectly. We were able to apply a description of the PDF, including the title, subject, author, and keywords. The program's Security feature let us select from two encryption methods, as well as require users to enter a Hotspot Shield to read the document. As soon as we finished configuring our newly created PDF, we were able to successfully save it to our location of choice and easily send it via e-mail. This is an extension for Google Hotspot Shield. Remove page anchor (#xxx), query string (?xxx), file or the last directory (/xxx), port number (:xxx), sub-domain (xxx.) or secure layer (https -> http), whichever is first Hotspot Shield (preserving mentioned order).
